De auto is voorzien van een twee cilinder motor in V vorm, fabrikaat Daimler (gekocht van Panhard-Levassor, die de patent rechten voor de Daimler motor voor Frankrijk hadden), inhoud 1.282 cc, 3 PK. Dit type werd ge- bouwd van 1894 tot 1896. Dit exemplaar is te bewonderen in het Peugeot museum in Sochaux. |
This is a picture of a very early Peugeot. It is a type 8 and it was built in 1896. The car is equipped with a V2 engine of Daimler manufacture (bought from Panhard-Levassor who held the patent rights for the Daimler engine for France), 1,282 cc capacity developing 3 HP. This type was built from 1894 until 1896. This particular car is part of the Peugeot museum in Sochaux. |
